Chair of the R&K Council
The Current Chair of the Republics & Kingdom Council is the Councillor for and Queen of Ménkǒu Dǎo, Her Royal Highness Queen Meirong II.
Her Majesty the Queen is the 26th rotational member who has served as the Chair of the Republics & Kingdom Council, and took up her position of the 24th Rotation at the Legislative Council session on 20 January, 2021 in Revnami. This represents the first occasion in which the Kingdom, rather than a Republic, has represented the Head of State position - thereby temporarily making the whole of Xuande-Xiphoi a constitutional monarchy.
Her Majesty has a long career in public service; as the reigning Monarch of Ménkǒu Dǎo since 2002, Her Majesty has established rapport across Xuande-Xiphoi and with the Citizens of her Kingdom. She has served in the Xuande-Xiphoian Navy, serving at the rank of Lieutenant Commander as the communications officer aboard the aircraft carrier XS Ménkǒu Dǎo.
Her Majesty has served as Councillor for Ménkǒu Dǎo since Amalgamation in 2009, and is well-regarded for her institutional knowledge of the Republics & Kingdom Council.
